Founding Researcher

Kaustubha is an MSCS student at Northeastern University’s Silicon Valley campus with a background in mobile development, AI engineering, and product-driven research. He is the Developer for YouDescribeX, an AI-powered accessibility platform led by Professor Ilmi Yoon. At YouDescribeX, Kaustubha works across mobile, web, and AI systems, building cross-platform tools that generate audio descriptions for visually impaired users. His work involves integrating large language models, computer vision modules, and conversational features to enhance video accessibility.

Kaustubha’s broader research focuses on Agentic AI, intelligent systems capable of memory, reasoning, and goal-driven behavior. He is especially interested in human-AI collaboration, mobile intelligence, and using generative models to solve real-world challenges in accessibility, education, and responsible AI adoption.
